Accessibility Features We Build Into Showers and Baths

For homeowners who don’t need a walk-in tub but want a safer shower experience, we build accessibility directly into our tub-to-shower conversions, custom shower installations, and full bathroom remodels. Each of the features below can be added during a one-day install, integrated with the wall surrounds and finishes you choose so the result looks like a beautifully designed bathroom – not a medical retrofit.

Low Threshold Shower Bases

A standard tub wall is about 15 inches tall. A traditional shower curb is around four. Our low-threshold shower bases drop that step to as little as one inch – low enough to walk over without lifting your foot, low enough for a caregiver to assist, and low enough to roll a shower chair across when needed. The base is sloped just enough to drain properly and finished with a textured, slip-resistant surface.

Slip-Resistant Surfaces

Every shower base we install includes a textured, anti-slip floor surface, engineered to grip wet feet without feeling rough or abrasive. The same surface is built into our walk-in tub basins. Grab Bars and Handrails
